Term and Agreement Document

This Term and Agreement Document ("Agreement") is entered into between ScolarisPlus lda. ("Company") and users of the ScolarisPlus platform ("Users"). By accessing and using the ScolarisPlus website ("Website"), Users agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.

1 - Description of ScolarisPlus

ScolarisPlus is an online platform that facilitates the connection between students and companies. Companies can post their projects and problems on the Website, and students can freely participate by solving and developing these projects. ScolarisPlus operates as a communication platform and does not provide any guarantee or warranty regarding the accuracy or quality of the projects or the work performed by students.

2 - Student Obligations

  • 2.1 Users who are students agree to participate in projects and solve problems on the ScolarisPlus platform to the best of their abilities.
  • 2.2 Students must ensure that any content they provide or use on the platform is in compliance with applicable laws, including intellectual property rights. If students use third-party content or open-source software, they must clearly indicate the sources and give appropriate credit as required by the respective licenses or terms of use.
  • 2.3 Students shall not engage in any activities that may cause harm or damage to the ScolarisPlus platform, its users, or any third party.

3 - Company Obligations

  • 3.1 Companies posting projects on the ScolarisPlus platform agree to credit students for their work. Companies shall indicate the students' names and may also provide links to their profiles or social media handles, whenever possible.
  • 3.2 Companies shall not use the work or ideas contributed by students for any commercial purposes without the students' consent.
  • 3.3 Companies are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their projects, including any specific requirements or expectations.

4 - Limitation of Liability

  • 4.1 ScolarisPlus shall not be held responsible for any disputes, claims, damages, or losses arising out of or related to the projects, interactions, or collaborations facilitated by the platform. Users acknowledge that ScolarisPlus is solely a communication platform and does not exercise control over the projects, content, or conduct of users.
  • 4.2 ScolarisPlus does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information or content provided by users on the platform. Users are solely responsible for verifying the information and assessing the suitability of any projects or collaborations.
  • 4.3 Users agree to release and hold harmless ScolarisPlus and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of or related to their use of the platform.

5 - Intellectual Property

  • 5.1 The intellectual property rights of the projects and content created by students shall remain with the students, unless otherwise agreed upon between the students and the respective companies.
  • 5.2 By participating in projects on the ScolarisPlus platform, students grant the respective companies a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and modify the work solely for the purpose of evaluating, implementing, or further developing the projects.

6 - Advertisements

  • 6.1 ScolarisPlus may display advertisements on the platform. These advertisements may be targeted based on user preferences, browsing history, or other relevant factors.
  • 6.2 Users understand and acknowledge that ScolarisPlus derives its revenue from these advertisements, and the placement of advertisements does not imply any endorsement or affiliation between ScolarisPlus and the advertised products or services.

7 - Termination

  • 7.1 Users may terminate their use of the ScolarisPlus platform at any time.
